1. Collection of documents

Based on the chosen method of obtaining a residence permit, we will collect the dossier stipulated by Lithuanian legislation. We will translate each of your documents, except for passports issued by foreign authorities, into Lithuanian, legalise them or certify them with an apostille.

2. Submitting an application

Registration of the prepared package of documents for residence permit status is carried out at the Immigration and Nationality Office in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania or at the country's diplomatic mission located outside the Schengen area. Before submitting the application, you need to pay a state fee of 90 EUR for application processing or 180 EUR for urgent verification.

3. Obtaining a residence permit

To submit and wait for the processing of the application for a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania, you can obtain a national visa and stay freely in the territory of the country. Once the decision is made, you will have a 3-month period to pay for the production of the residence permit card. You can receive the finished document in person in 2-10 days at the office of the Office of Immigration and Citizenship Affairs.
